The Grass is Not Always Greener: Pray for Shannon

Please pray for my wife at the time of her grandfather's passing. She will be making another trip to Oklahoma for the funeral.

Thumper: I'm a minister at a church in Kansas City. I have a beautiful family and a wonderful church. Life's never perfect but God has blessed my socks off. Have you counted your blessings? I want this blog to show why I'm so content with God and the life He's given me. "Thumper" was one of those arbitrary, meaningless nicknames I picked up in Jr. High. It's not connected to Bambi or Bible-thumping… I think. But it stuck and has been my casual online moniker for years.
