Humiliating

KU lost to K-State today 59-55. In men's basketball.

You've got to be kidding.

KU only shot 26% from the floor in the second half and was out rebounded by a K-State team that had been so poor this year that their coach's job was seriously on the line. Not now. KU had won 31 games in a row against the Wildcats but now the Jayhawks dropped a twelve point lead in the second half to the last ranked team in the Big 12. And KU has beat ranked teams this year! What's going on?!

As a Jayhawk fan, this is disgusting. And embarrasing. It's hard to think of them as a good team after this.

Ugh…

Congratulations K-State. You deserved the win and played well. Good luck with the rest of your season and good luck March 4 in Manhattan; you might sweep the series.

Thanks for the good news. It looks like things are changing in Kansas. First KU beat KSU in Football and then this.

Just be glad you don't have to worry about the embarassment of having those ugly Jayhawk coasters lying around!

I think the sooner you start to realize that the KU dynasty left with Roy Williams the better you will sleep at night.

Actually, KU's dynasty started with James Naismith, the inventer of basketball, in 1898.

Thought you should know.

Actually I was really only kidding about the dynasty comment. How can you call KU a dynasty when they haven't won a title since the 80's.

KU: 2 wins in 7 championship games since 1939. (4 nat'l championships total).

The rest of the Big 12 combined? 2 wins in 7 championship game appearances. The only Big 12 school with a championship game appearance since 1951 other than KU? OU in 1988 (which lost to Kansas).

K-State is the only other Big 12 north school to appear in a championship game, losing in 1951.
