I'm hoping that this blog is the antithesis of the thinly-veiled-suicide-note blogs of despair that I keep coming across, like this one. The internet seems to encourage people to vent and there's a lot of angst out there.
I'm not claiming everything is perfect. But I know there's Someone who loves me unconditionally and that makes a huge difference.

After following that link and reading Matias's blogs, I can't help but feel fortunate. To love and to be loved. To know about a hope that extends beyond the pain and despair that this world brings. To be able to look beyond the circumstances and see that my suffering is only limited to this earth. All because of faith in the idea that the evidence surrounding me points to a Being greater than the reality I know, and faith that what He promised is true. Having hope like this undescribably freeing.
This wasn't even the worst I've seen. Some blogs are the saddest things I've ever read.
