Learning As I Go

Did you see my new clock? It's the latest example of my new html knowledge. I've gone from zero to zero-point-nil in just a few days. I know at least enough to be dangerous! I skillfully cut & pasted that clock into the template that I borrowed, then I changed its color and size and time zone (by following the instructions). Watch out Google, I'm taking over!

In all seriousness, if you know of a effective resource to learn some html I would be in your debt. I'm open to books or online resources or whatever. I just need help. Thanks.

Your site looks great. I would recommend going to http://www.htmlgoodies.com/
You will find several tutorials there that will help you through this.

I would also recommend getting an html editor. There are several benifits to using a html editors. All will color code the html tags so it is easier to read and some will allow you to creat webpages using a graphical interface. You can also view changes that you make to your webpage without opening it in a seperate program.

The websites below each have a html editor available for download (if you need me to I can download it and burn it to a CD). Some of them offer freeware html editors and others you will have to buy. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I looked at the site. I'll just have to devote some time to reading on it.

Mr. Thump:
My favorite HTML learning site is webmonkey.com. Tucows.com is where I look for free HTML editors, but at http://mac.tucows.com/webbuilding_htmledit_default.html there was no freeware, just shareware.

BTW, this blog is kinda neat.
